Your Account, Settings & Controls
Almost everything you can tweak lives in one place — your Account. Here’s a quick tour of what you can control and where to find it.
Your profile
Set a username (2–20 characters) and pick your look — a gallery avatar, an emoji, or your own photo, plus a frame. Full details in customize your avatar. Your username and avatar show up in matches, the lobby, and on the leaderboards.
Sound & music
VS Compete has a carnival soundtrack and sound effects for wins, challenges and more. You can toggle the music on or off whenever you like. On a phone, remember the silent/vibrate switch mutes web audio too, so check that if things go quiet unexpectedly.
Friends
Open Account → Friends to add players by username, see who’s online, message them, block anyone you’d rather not hear from, and fire off challenges. See playing with friends for the full rundown.
Challenge alerts
Turn on Alerts in your Account to get pinged when a friend challenges you or your Pit challenge is taken — even when the app is closed. Setup (and the iPhone step) is in the challenge alerts guide.
Install the app
From your Account you can install VS Compete to your home screen for a one-time +20🪙, full-screen play and alerts. See get the app.
One hub for everything: your Account is the control center — profile, friends, sound, alerts and install all live there. Set it up once and you’re dialed in.

How do I turn the music off?
